Technical AV realisation of the Dutch Pavilion at the 60th International Art Exhibition — La Biennale di Venezia.
The Venice Biennale is the most-watched stage in contemporary art, and a national pavilion is judged accordingly. For the Mondriaan Fund we realised the audiovisual side of the Dutch Pavilion at the 60th edition.
A pavilion runs for months, all day, in front of the most demanding audience and press in the art world — so reliability isn’t a feature, it’s the whole point. We built the AV to disappear into the work and to keep running, unattended, for the length of the Biennale, with the install and logistics planned around Venice’s particular constraints.
